AEMP109 - Student Internship - 30 Clock Hours of Instruction
Student internships are conducted in the field of audio engineering and music production, under supervision of a professional, where the student’s skills are assessed. Practical training provides students the opportunity to further develop business skills and gain exposure to the work environment. Internships allow students to take initiative and become accountable for their experience. The F.I.R.S.T. School encourages students to make lasting relationships and practice the skills learned during Career Development, class lectures and lab hours. Practical training for each student will vary considerably, but all opportunities should teach students about their industry and set expectations for entry-level employment upon graduation.
